Fees & Sessions 2017/18

Each year at Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten we review our fees. We strive to keep several important goals in mind: building a sustainable, financially healthy kindergarten, making Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten accessible to as many families as possible, and staying true to our mission and philosophy. You can expect an increase of between 3% and 6% each year.

The amount is calculated based on the 48 weeks of the year that we are open and then averaged into monthly payments.

Bushcraft / Forest School

Includes:

Enhanced resources, one-to-one tool use, fire making, access to Green Space, and bush snack.

Bushcraft for:

3 and 4 year olds only. We risk assess each child individually. Session include one-to-one tool use, fire-making, den building, and more.




Nursery Education Funding

What Funding is Available to Me?

Your child is able to access 570 or 1,140 hours of nursery education funded by the Government from the term after their third birthday. This funding can be stretched over the 48 weeks of the year that we are open.

Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten offers free places for qualifying two-year-old children. If you are eligble for two-year-old Government funding you will be eligible for our Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten programme of free places. You can check eligiblity for free places here.

Policy of Provision of NEF

Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten is registered on the Worcestershire Early Years Directory of NEF Providers.

We offer the free entitlement hours funded by the Government as part of our sessional and full day care, applied over 48 weeks of the year. We offer up to 1,140 hours per year, which works out as a maximum of 23.75 hours per week, capped at 6 hours per day. Funded hours are 9am to 12pm and 2.30pm to 5.30pm. There is a charge for the additional hours and services outside of the scope of the funded hours.

How Do the Funded Hours Affect My Fees?

Funded hours are provided free at the point of delivery. There is a charge for additional hours and services outside of the scope of the Government funded hours. A summary of fees including additional hours and services are provided in the table below.

Free Places Programme

The opportunity to provide assistance for families in need is an important aspect of our mission and values. Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten offers free places for qualifying children. If you are eligible for two-year-old government funding or Pupil Premium you will be eligible for our Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten programme of free places.

A minimum of 2 morning sessions (8.00am to 12.45pm) per week can be provided for eligible two-year-olds. We aim to ensure a child can continue to access these places following their third birthday.

We also have funded only sessions available for three and four year olds. These places are limited and are on a first come, first served basis. A minimum of 3 funded only sessions per week is available as follows:
