How Does Membership Work?

Frequently Asked Questions

Membership at Nurture Outdoor Kindergarten, Worcestershire can work alongside Nursery Education Funding perfectly.

Funding is applied to all tiers for the delivery of early education, with Nurture membership ensuring access to a variety of services that enrich your child's development.

The examples above are based on two part-day sessions (9am to 3.30pm) per week.

Additional sessions can be added at the following rates:

  • Breakfast Club (8am to 9am): £8 per session
  • Morning Session (9am to 12.45pm): £18 with funding, £39 without funding
  • Full Day (8am to 3.30pm): £33 with funding, £76 without funding

Family Club and Children's Circle tiers offer enhanced services for families.

Funding eligibility and amounts can change. We recommend checking the latest information on the government's childcarechoices.gov.uk

Most likely - yes. For example, most of our families pay for early education via a tax-free childcare account. You can claim 20% of your childcare costs from the Government—up to £500 every three months.

Government funding can significantly reduce your childcare costs:

  • 2-Year-Old Funding: 15 hours/week for eligible families (12 hours/week at NOK)
  • 3 & 4-Year-Old Universal Funding: 15 hours/week for all (12 hours/week at NOK)
  • 3 & 4-Year-Old Extended Funding: 30 hours/week for eligible working parents (24 hours/week at NOK)
  • Tax-Free Childcare: Government contributes £2 for every £8 you pay

Eligibility criteria apply. Please note we stretch funding across the academic year as we are open 48 weeks of the year.

Our members are families like you, families looking for community, friendship and solidarity. They are parents and carers looking to give their child wonderful early experiences, whilst feeling supported themselves in the journey of parenting.
Your Nurture Membership is about enabling this through a key relationship between your child, you and your NOK Educator; a relationship that delivers emotional, physical and social transformations for your child.
By going back to the drawing board and removing as many unnecessary barriers as possible, we've come up with a membership model that simplifies early childhood economics and enables us to focus on the important work of supporting your child's early development.

Our Children's Circle membership type includes unlimited use of group sessions and workshops.
Each individual or couple desiring private counselling is encouraged to participate in a free intro to counselling workshop specifically designed for parents and carers.
After intake sessions of £100, membership includes six (6) free counselling sessions for the lifetime of the membership (even if membership is cancelled or extends beyond one year), with additional visits being charged £50 per visit (subject to change).
For more information visit our counselling page (coming soon).

We require a six (6) month commitment at the beginning of membership (not all due at once, but 6 monthly payments), and then membership is month-to-month after that, with a one (1) month notice of termination of the membership.

By attending a minimum of two sessions per week, children can easily find their place in a group and feel a part of something bigger than themselves.

We provide a kit list to ensure your child is suitably dressed for all weathers. For a one-off cost inclusive of your registration fee, we supply top quality waterproof sets.

We serve fresh fruit and vegetables every day – included in your fee. Your child will get a hot lunch and snacks, including milk (dairy and alternative) served at the table, where they can experience sharing food together with their peers, with social eating and chatter. And our much-loved outdoor snacks mean blueberries, oat milk and porridge taste all the better for being wrapped in fresh air!

Anytime. New members may register any time of year. We encourage you to register soon, as membership is limited per NOK practitioner.
To discuss membership, please get in touch with friendly community team as soon as possible. We will be able to talk you through the next steps, including a visit with your child to NOK and beginning the registration process.
