Additional information

Led by our experienced doula (retired NHS midwife) and parent-infant therapist, our approach is centred around your individual needs, concerns and goals. We prioritise your emotional wellbeing and empowerment throughout the journey.

You’ll learn evidence-based information about antenatal care, childbirth, postnatal recovery, infant development and infant feeding, but we won’t stop there. We also incorporate mindfulness practices to help manage stress, reduce anxiety, and connect with your inner strength.

Our sessions provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share your thoughts, feelings and experiences with others who understand and support you. Birthing partners are welcome.

Need a note for work? Our doulas and parent-infant therapists can help you. Make sure you understand your right while you’re pregnant to attend antenatal care and support.

Sessions are booked in a block of six weekly sessions, at a subsidised cost of £180.

(limited spaces available - book now)

As always, you are welcome to make a donation to Nurture Families to enable us to support more families. Hot drinks and homemade bakes are available to purchase from the Growing Change kitchen on site, with all proceeds going to support women experiencing hardship.
