Additional information

This autumn we have a 6 week course for expectant parents. Mindful Movement brings together the wisdom of yoga practices and the latest research on nervous systems and wellbeing.

Mindful Movement will be led by Zoe Meacham, Yoga Teacher and Dr Amy Naylor, Clinical Psychologist. Over 6 weeks, Zoe and Amy will be exploring how our nervous systems can get stuck in a fight/flight response and what this means for expectant and new parents. Zoe will connect this learning to gentle yoga practices and conscious breathing that will help build safety and connection in our bodies.

This class is for you if you are struggling with low mood, anxiety or general distress as a new parent.

This is a 6 week course of weekly sessions. This class is free to attend due to support from the Inclusive Communities fund. You just need to be able to commit to all the sessions.

No prior knowledge or experience of yoga is required. This group is available to both Mums and Dads.

Sessions Tuesday at 12.15pm to 1.45pm

As always, you are welcome to make a donation to Nurture Families to enable us to support more families. Hot drinks and homemade bakes are available to purchase from the Growing Change kitchen on site, with all proceeds going to support women experiencing hardship.
